Heather & Matt

One of my all-time favorite clients to work with, Heather & Matt have been our clients from their wedding all the way to their kids’ milestones!

For their September wedding in Lafayette, they wanted a generous, family-style feast that would delight their guests. They shared with us that they love Brazilian BBQ and Irish Mules, and this served as the foundation for their menu.

Refreshments were provided for their ceremony… sparkling wine and flavored waters, followed by passed appetizers during cocktail hour of crab cakes with mango salsa, bbq sliders, artichoke fritters, and cubanos! For dinner, the stars were our pork belly with baby bok choy & pickled red onions, achiote chicken, and baked white fish with salsa verde. We served these with seasonal vegetables, our signature salad, and rice pilaf.

For the reception, we set up a light, natural look of banquet tables with crisp white linen, mahogany chiavari chairs, and bistro lights that provided a romantic, cozy atmosphere for their garden reception. It was a perfect day for an incredible couple and their equally lovely family & friends!
